Mentoring
The purpose of mentoring is to school members toward qualification, and in practise is the constructive critiquing of images that you hope will make up your qualification panel.
Objective and constructive print critiques are singularly the best was of gaining the insight you need to improve.
Mentors are Fellows of the Institute who give their time voluntarily on a good will basis, are usually fully employed in their own businesses with little free time, who nevertheless, with a little patience, respect, and sometimes a little persistence when approached will generously be greatly helpful.
More convenient and easily accessible mentoring is on offer at the close of regional meetings when there are usually qualified members in attendance who will willingly guide you. Stuart Clark, the region's secretary, regularly gives critiques or will introduce you to the most appropriate member.
The Mentor List is currently being updated and will be posted as soon as possible. In the meantime please contact head office.
